The Aspiring Peacebuilders Seminar (APS), a joint initiative of Innovations in Peacebuilding and the George Mason University Center for Applied Peace Strategies, brought ten emerging peacebuilders to Washington, DC, from May 30 to June 18, 2025. Over three weeks, they explored the intersection of peace and technology through interactive sessions, site visits, and daily “Peace Corners” featuring real-world success stories. The program concluded with the cohort delivering a project proposal addressing conflict in South Sudan—showcasing their skills, creativity, and commitment to building sustainable peace.
We are proud to share this final report, capturing the cohort’s vision and dedication.
