About IP
Innovations in Peacebuilding (IP), was founded in 2009 by Dr. Charles Davidson. What began as a small volunteer-supported effort has since grown into a global effort, working in five war-affected countries. IP’s mission is to support local initiatives in conflict-impacted regions as they pursue creative, sustainable peace solutions that expand opportunity for all. IP envisions a world where conflicts are resolved nonviolently, child soldiery is eliminated, and communities once affected by war become safe, thriving, and sustainably peaceful.
