IPI at the NEPSA conference

In April 2024, IPI’s Program Manager of Women in Peace & Qualitative Research Specialist Nuria List presented at the New England Political Science Association (NEPSA) Conference. This conference was held in Rhode Island and gathered over 200 academics and sector organization representatives to discuss a wide range of political science topics and research. Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse was a keynote speaker.
IPI presented its own research here, as Nuria shared insights into IPI’s process for assessing and identifying local partners and potential peacebuilding projects. This methodology has been developed and iterated on through IPI’s work and the team’s academic research, culminating in an in-depth academic paper that will soon undergo peer review. The presentation prompted lively discussion, raised some important questions, and overall received positive feedback from those in the room.
